Annette Beitel: President & Founder
Annette is actively involved in client engagements as well as being responsible for our strategic direction and development.
Annette has over 30 years of experience providing legal, regulatory, procurement, strategic and management support to energy efficiency and renewable energy programs in California, the Midwest, and internationally. She has deep experience leading and managing large, multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder efforts relating to clean energy, including collaboratives, working groups, advisory councils, and non-profit governance boards.

Michael Daukoru: Director of Innovation Initiatives
Michael leads emerging opportunities involving new measures, technology transfer, and technology-enabled program innovation.
Michael has more than 15 years of experience in the energy efficiency and utility industry including performance testing, impact estimation, due-diligence review, and technology R&D. For the California Technical Forum (Cal TF), Michael is leading collaborative efforts to source, screen, and develop measures for California’s electronic Technical Reference Manual (eTRM). He currently leads FutEE’s Software and Data Analysis team, directing product development and day-to-day management for software tools such as California’s eTRM, including the use of generative AI to impact portfolio outcomes.

Spencer Lipp, P.E.: Director of Engineering
Spencer leads the energy engineering aspects focused on data driven solutions to streamline the energy efficiency infrastructure.
Spencer has nearly 30 years in the energy efficiency and utility consulting industry. For Future Energy Enterprises California operations, he leads the technical aspects of the Cal TF involving developing systems, tools, and process improvements on deemed and custom to increase energy efficiency in California by removing technical and policy barriers, streamlining processes, and eliminating redundancy. He also leads the facilitation and coordination of the Reporting Project Coordination Group (PCG) which tackles data management with the California Energy Data and Reporting System (CEDARS), Cost Effectiveness Tool (CET), and other data systems.

Kate Burkhart: Director of People Operations & Deputy Director, Cal TF
Kate leads Future Energy Enterprises' people operations, compliance, and internal business systems firm-wide, and serves as Deputy Director of the California Technical Forum.
Kate has fifteen years directing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across consulting, technology implementation, and regulated environments. She owns people operations and firm-wide compliance, and partners with the President and senior leadership team on firm strategy and operational efficiency. For Cal TF, she leads program management across the program's goal areas, facilitates PAC and Technical Forum sessions, and leads content development and research. She brings deep expertise in stakeholder management, team leadership, and client service. She previously held talent, culture, and change leadership roles at Kraft Heinz and Ernst & Young.

Sara Beauchamp: Illinois Portfolio Director
Sara leads client delivery for Future Energy Enterprises' Illinois portfolio.
Sara has more than two decades of experience in strategy, advisory and technology consulting that let organizations plan, execute, and deliver more effectively. She owns delivery quality, client relationships, and account management across the Illinois portfolio while serving as the senior escalation point for delivery risk and client issues. She has the ability to operate both strategically and tactically whole deploying practice implementations. Her past work includes more than six years redesigning and managing the investment planning framework and process for Midwest Independent System Operator (MISO), leading process and change management efforts for large-scale transformations at multiple Fortune 100 Companies, and managing a $10M+ annual client business portfolio.
